Review of the processes of the company related to parts manufacturing and procurement, its decision-making mechanism, quality standard, and cost-efficiency.
Result of the review: the principles and material qualities used during the design phase do not fulfil the internal requirements or the perquisites of state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies

In-house manufacturing of specific parts – 3.5% savings
Specification of the appropriate manufacturing technology – 2% savings
The optimisation of the technical and technological parameters of the process for the procurement of parts from suppliers: 2.5% savings

Agricultural project – COMPONENT DESIGN CONSULTING
Inspection of the circumstances of the parts manufacturing and technological processes
Review of the part designs by reconciling quality-related, operational, and economic aspects

Improvements implemented

Optimisation of requirements different from the actual quality needs: 1.1% savings
Selection of the optimal raw materials for the parts: 0.3% savings
Selection of the manufacturing process most suitable for the manufacturing quantities: 2.2% savings
Reduction of the procurement prices due to the technologically correct wording of the specifications  1.2% savings
